Trogir is located at the end of the Gulf of Kaštela, and is 27 kilometres away from Split. One of the oldest towns from the Middle Ages, 24 centuries old, it is a favourite destination for art lovers and observers of history. The town’s ancient centre is under the protection of UNESCO and conceals many interesting objects.
The Cathedral of St Lovro also has special artistic value, especially because of Radovan’s portal that was built long ago in 1240. The remains of the old town are filled with numerous villas from the Renaissance and summer residences. The wider area of the town is dedicated to hosting tourists, where you can stay in one of the apartments, villas, hotels or camps. The ACI marina has 280 moorings, and offers all the additional amenities required by sailors. In the environs of the town you can find beautiful beaches and little islands. You can spend your free time doing some sport, like cycling, tennis, bowling or diving…
The cultural offer is augmented by frequent concerts, exhibitions and folklore gatherings and traditional fish festivals are held – all night long parties for the fishermen and their guests.
