Today this former fishing village has made use of its natural potential, and is now classed as one of the most beautiful places in the northern Adriatic. The beautiful pebble beach and crystal clear sea, whose shallow depths are suitable even for the youngest swimmers, has surely contributed to this.

The village has been able to safeguard its natural beauty because the forces of urbanisation have never taken up full momentum, today and the 2000 inhabitants still live in old houses. Asides from swimming, it is possible to have fun in Mošćenička Draga by playing football, sailing, diving and other water sports. Nearby Učka is suitable for hiking and cycling adventures, and we recommend a walk on the historical path to the village of Trebišća, which is the heart of civilisation of these parts. Fish festivals are a summer tradition – celebrations that are accompanied by local food and drink, and which last all night long.
