Fažana, a fishing village and entry point for the National Park of Brijuni, is located 8 kilometres from Pula. In Fažana you have private accommodation and a well provided for auto-camp.
The fragrance from the pine forest in Fažana blends with the scent of excellent grapes and wine, as well as the aroma of olive oil. Found nearby were the remains of a wealthy Antique villa, and in the town there is still the preserved church of Saint Elise from the sixth century.
Although the inhabitants used to solely engage in fishing, farming and boat building, today Fažana is increasingly becoming a favourite sport for visitors. Perhaps this is because of the unspoilt natural surroundings and authentic experience of the real Istria.
